Welcome to our new Newsletter! The season of renewal is upon us, and we thought a new email service provider was a step in the right direction! With that being said, we are also in a period of transition with all of the new changes. So, please bear that in mind, and if you see any issue, please reach out to Steven at northdavidsoncc@gmail.com where he can correct it.
If you have received this email from being listed in one of the previous Constant Contact lists, and do not wish to be contacted any longer, please find the unsubscribe link at the very bottom of this email. It will be in a similarly colored section and placed under the Chamber information. I would make it an easy button but I cannot figure out how to. Sorry for the inconvenience as we navigate this time of change. Thank you for your understanding! Letter from the PresidentHello November! I don't know about all of you, but the fun of Halloween with the lessons in pop culture from kids of varying ages with varying degrees of sugar highs always cements my autumnal joy. Now, with the cusp of Thanksgiving-supplied full bellies, the early morning rush of Black Friday shopping, and the Midway Christmas Parade, the Holiday Season is taking its full hold on the end of the year! Speaking of, our registration for the Midway Christmas Parade has opened! Please see the attached flyer below, with a click-through link embedded, to make sure you are registered for the parade if you wish to participate. Secondly, there is still a call for day-of volunteers for the Parade! We are working closely with Midway Fire Dept., the Sheriff's Office, and EMT personnel to make sure everything is even better than last year, and we need you as the final piece! If you are interested, please sign up here! Next, I want to tell everyone that we are pausing collecting donation items for our local schools until the next calendar year. However, in the most giving time of year I would encourage everyone who is able to support one of our newest members, Toys For Tots. They had to make serious cuts to the amount of children they were able to help last year, and we want to be sure they can meet if not exceed the demand for this year! More information can be found below in their section of the newsletter. Lastly, this is our last normal meeting of the year. So, you know what that means? IT'S TIME TO PAR-TAY!! So, be sure to be in contact with a Board member if you wish to contribute an item to the live and/or silent auction at our Annual Christmas Party hosted by Weathervane Winery. The Board will begin reaching out to you all shortly to see if you are able to participate with donation items. We will also be pushing out our virtual payment system for ticketing! If you feel an electronic payment is easier for you, that will be available for your meal ticket cost and the final cost of any auction items you end up winning. If you wish to bring in a check or cash, those will still be accepted at the door. Full registration info will be rolled out shortly. Well, that seems like all the information I have for you so far! Please be sure to keep an eye on your emails for further information from the Chamber. I can't wait to see you all at our very busy and festive end of the year events! See you all at the meeting on November 18th! Sharon McGee, President, 2025
