HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope this email finds you well and that you had a very happy and wonderful Christmas and New Year's Day!
As we begin this new year, we have some great events already in the works. Our January meeting will be our traditional round table discussion with all of our members. So, be practicing your business elevator pitch, be ready to tell us about your business, and tell us how we can support you in the coming year! We will need to begin at 11:30 this year to be sure all members have time to talk and get us out by 1pm so you can get back to your businesses.
February's meeting will be another fantastic opportunity. We have Loren Hill of NC Carolina Core coming to give us a presentation. The NC Carolina Core is the development project along Hwy 421 that is bringing large scale industries here. These large businesses will bring people to our area, which means our small businesses will hopefully grow and thrive even more! So, mark this one on your calendars to attend!
How can you help this year you ask??? Well, we need meal sponsors and speaker/topic ideas. The board will be meeting on January 7th to finalize plans for this year. If you feel that you would like to sponsor or co-sponsor a lunch, please give me a call. Or if there is a specific topic we need to have covered this year, please let me know that as well (I need more ideas!).
